Brian E. Mullen

About Me

I grew up in central Pennsylvania and relocated to Lancaster County after graduating from Bloomsburg University in 1999. For the past nine years, I’ve lived in East Hempfield Township with my wife, Kate, and our two daughters, who attend Hempfield schools.

Professionally, I’m a CPA with over 25 years of experience in finance and taxation. My career has included roles in tax audit and analysis across government, manufacturing, public accounting, and transportation industries. Currently, I serve as a Senior Manager in the finance department of an international vehicle leasing and logistics company headquartered in Reading, PA, where I’ve worked for over 13 years. My primary focus in this role is sales, use, and indirect taxation.

In the community, I am passionate about serving in roles that allow me to leverage my skills and experience to support nonprofit organizations and help them fulfill their missions, both now and in the future. I’ve served in board positions with a large parent-teacher organization, athletic boosters, and our homeowner’s association.

Given my professional background and my ongoing commitment to serving the community, I believe I would be an excellent fit for the role of auditor in East Hempfield Township.
